What to Expect

Your Initial Visit

Your first visit with us is generally 25-35 minutes, and this includes time taken for paperwork. While no one likes to fill out paperwork, this is one of the most crucial steps towards improving your well-being. 

Dr. Routley tries to answer four main questions during your first visit…
  1. What is your problem?
  2. What can be done to correct your problem?
  3. How long will it take?
  4. What will it cost?
You should also expect your initial visit to include:
  • Examination
  • X-ray
  • Palpation for
    • General alignment
    • Muscles
    • Joint motion
  • Medical history
  • Family history 
By answering these questions, a care plan designed specific to your problem can be developed, and we can begin treatment right away. We do all of this while trying to help you feel comfortable and relaxed with your treatment. 

Every patient is different, which is why you will receive the highest quality, personalized care available. Dr. Routley is especially skilled in helping nervous patients or those who are skeptical of chiropractic adjustments.

Insurance

Understanding and billing insurance can be a never-ending headache. We will try and help you the best we can, and we are usually able to access your chiropractic coverage benefits through insurances that we participate with. We do recommend that you call your healthcare provider directly to find out if your visit will be covered. 

If you don't have insurance coverage for chiropractic services, you should be glad to know that chiropractic care has repeatedly been shown to be cost-effective and less expensive than other forms of healthcare for similar diagnosed conditions.
