Meet Dr. Routley

Dr. David B. Routley, III is a practicing chiropractor in Mecosta, MI. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, as well as a bachelor’s degree, from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1991. He also holds two degrees from Ferris State University, one of which is an associate’s degree in applied radiology. He is a former member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. He has worked with quality assurance at two of the four hospitals where he has been employed.

Dr. Routley graduated from Palmer College on the President's list for academics, and also graduated with research honors from the Palmer Research Institute. He won the prestigious John Connelly award for most outstanding student. He was vice president of student government, president of his class, and was selected twice to represent Palmer College at the World Congress of Chiropractic Students; the first in 1989 in Sunnyvale, California, and the second in 1990 in Bournemouth, England.

Dr. Routley enjoys practicing chiropractic care near his hometown of Big Rapids. He and his lovely wife, Alice, have five children (two girls and three boys), plus two sons they sort of inherited, three daughters-in-law, three grandsons, and ten granddaughters. The Routley's are members of St. Peter's Lutheran Church where Dr. Routley has served as congregational president and vice president, as well as an elder and chairman of the Board of Day School Education.

Meet Our Staff

Julie Routley, LMT

Julie graduated from the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education in August of 2016, where she received training in therapeutic massage, Swedish massage, lymphatic massage, prenatal massage, and reflexology. Her techniques include deep tissue, trigger point, active isolated stretching, positional release, and many more.

Julie was born and raised in Big Rapids, MI. She attended Ferris State University where she earned her applied sciences bachelor’s degree in biology. She is the daughter of Dr. David and Alice Routley. You may recognize her, as she has been working in the office since 2008.

Teri Knight, LMT

Teri has over 10 years of experience in massage therapy. She received her training at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapy and Education; finishing in 2012. Teri worked in our office for several years before moving to the sunny state of North Carolina. But now she is back! Teri specializes in deep tissue/sports massage, as well as relaxation massage and pre-natal massage. We are excited to welcome Teri back to the office.

Sarina Foster, LMT

Sarina graduated from the Naturoprathic Institute of Therapies and Education in August of 2016. She is trained in Deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, Lymphatic massage, Pre-natal massage, and reflexology. She is certified in cupping.
